Shipping and Pickup Policy

The short version: RC House is a marketplace. Individual sellers pack and hand off the gear you buy. We calculate the shipping price at checkout, provide the label, and track the package. If a seller offers local pickup, you can arrange to collect the item in person instead and pay no shipping.

This policy explains how delivery works on RC House, operated by MS Global Holdings LLC ("MSGH"). It sits alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

1. Who ships your order

Sellers are responsible for packing an item and handing it to the carrier or to you. RC House is not the seller and does not take possession of the goods. Each seller you buy from produces a separate order, even when you pay for several sellers in one payment, so items from different sellers ship separately and can arrive at different times.

2. Shipping prices

Shipping is calculated at checkout from the seller's origin postal code, your delivery address, and the weight and dimensions the seller entered for the item. The price you see before you pay is the price you pay. We do not add shipping charges after checkout.

Your order total always shows items, shipping, tax, and any buyer fee as separate lines before you place the order. If a carrier later bills a correction because a seller supplied inaccurate weight or dimensions, that adjustment is settled with the seller and not charged to you.

3. Delivery estimates

Carrier estimates shown at checkout are estimates, not guarantees. They count from the moment the seller hands the package to the carrier, not from the moment you pay. Sellers are expected to hand off promptly after an order is placed, and you can see the current status of every order in your account.

4. Tracking

Once a seller buys a label, tracking appears on your order. Delivery scans update the order automatically. If tracking stops updating or the carrier reports a problem, open the order and contact the seller through RC House messages so the conversation stays attached to the order.

5. Local pickup

Many RC items are large, fragile, or awkward to ship, so sellers may offer local pickup. When a listing offers pickup:

  • The listing shows an approximate pickup area, centered on a postal code with a radius the seller chose. We never publish a seller's exact address on a listing.
  • Choosing pickup at checkout means no shipping charge.
  • You and the seller arrange a time and a safe meeting place in RC House messages after payment.
  • Both sides confirm the handoff on the order so there is a record of the exchange.

Meet in a public place when you can. Never settle a marketplace transaction outside RC House; doing so removes the order record that our support, returns, and dispute process depends on.

6. Batteries and other regulated items

Lithium batteries, aircraft, and radio transmitters are common in this hobby and carry real shipping rules.

  • Lithium batteries, including those installed in a model, are restricted to ground services and must carry the marks the carrier requires. RC House applies these restrictions automatically when a listing declares a battery, and a battery order cannot be shipped by air.
  • Sellers must declare damaged, swollen, or otherwise unsafe packs. These may not be shipped at all.
  • Some items are practical only as a local pickup. Sellers may list them as pickup only.

Sellers are responsible for packing regulated items lawfully and honestly. Items that cannot be shipped safely should be offered for local pickup instead.

7. Addresses

Your delivery address is released to a seller only after payment, and only for the order you placed. A seller's full address is never shown on a public listing. Enter your address carefully; a package sent to an address you supplied incorrectly is not covered by the protections below.

8. Undeliverable, lost, or damaged shipments

If a package is returned as undeliverable, lost in transit, or arrives damaged, open the order and report the problem. Do not discard the packaging until the claim is resolved, since carriers usually require it.

9. International shipping

RC House currently supports shipping within the United States. Sellers may not offer international delivery through the marketplace.

10. Returns

This policy covers getting an item to you. Returns, refunds, and what to do when an item is not as described are handled through your order and the RC House returns process. See the returns section of our Help Center.
