Accessibility Statement
RC House wants buyers, sellers, service providers, and Community members with disabilities to be able to use the marketplace independently.
Our target
We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 Level AA as our design and testing target. This statement describes a goal and an ongoing program. It is not a claim that every page, state, third-party service, or user-uploaded item currently conforms.
What we do
- Use semantic headings, labels, landmarks, and accessible names.
- Support keyboard navigation and visible focus.
- Test light and dark color contrast.
- Provide text alternatives for interface graphics and require useful listing-photo descriptions where the workflow supports them.
- Respect reduced-motion preferences.
- Keep primary controls large enough for touch and avoid relying on color alone.
- Test representative marketplace pages with automated tools and manually review important buying, selling, checkout, messaging, and account flows.
- Include accessibility in regression testing as the product changes.
Third-party and member content
RC House uses third-party services for payments, identity verification, maps, shipping, and Community software. Sellers and members also upload photos, videos, files, and descriptions. We work to provide accessible surrounding controls and to correct issues we can control, but some third-party or member-provided content may have limitations.
Need help or found a problem?
Contact support@rchouse.co and include:
- The page or feature you were using.
- What you were trying to do.
- The browser, device, and assistive technology, if you are comfortable sharing them.
- The format or accommodation that would help.
We will acknowledge the request, investigate it, and provide a reasonable alternative when one is available. Accessibility requests receive the same protection from retaliation or discrimination as other support requests.
