Acceptable Use and Prohibited Items Policy

The short version: use RC House for honest RC hobby transactions and community participation. Do not sell unsafe, stolen, counterfeit, unlawful, or misrepresented items. Do not move a deal outside RC House after finding the other person here.

This policy applies to the RC House marketplace, messages, profiles, reviews, services, want-to-buy posts, and Community. It supplements our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.

1. Marketplace conduct

You may not:

• Move payment, offers, shipping, pickup, or transaction contact outside RC House to avoid fees or safeguards.
• Misrepresent an item's identity, brand, part number, condition, ownership, location, quantity, compatibility, performance, or availability.
• Manipulate auctions, bids, offers, reviews, search placement, watchers, views, or seller ratings.
• Bid on your own item, arrange shill bids, or coordinate with another person to inflate a price.
• Use multiple accounts to evade a restriction, gain an unfair advantage, or hide transaction history.
• Harass, threaten, stalk, discriminate against, impersonate, or defraud another person.
• Solicit passwords, verification codes, payment-card details, bank credentials, or government identification through messages.
• Scrape, probe, reverse engineer, overload, or access non-public parts of RC House without written authorization.

2. Prohibited items

The following may not be listed, requested, sold, or shipped through RC House:

• Stolen goods or items you do not have the legal right to sell.
• Counterfeit goods, unauthorized replicas presented as genuine, or items bearing a mark you are not allowed to use.
• Recalled products when resale is prohibited or the safety defect has not been remedied.
• Damaged, swollen, punctured, leaking, recalled, or otherwise unsafe batteries.
• Explosives, live ammunition, weapons, weaponized models, or parts primarily intended to harm people or property.
• Fuel, pressurized containers, leaking chemicals, or hazardous material that cannot lawfully use the selected shipping service.
• Radio equipment that is unlawful to sell or operate in the United States, including equipment intentionally altered to evade applicable authorization requirements.
• Illegal surveillance devices, signal jammers, or tools primarily intended to interfere with communications or navigation.
• Malware, stolen account credentials, unauthorized access tools, or digital files you do not have the right to provide.
• Any item or service whose sale, possession, shipment, or performance would violate applicable law.

3. Regulated hobby items

Some RC items are allowed only when the listing is complete and the transaction follows the applicable rules.

• LiPo batteries must be declared and use an eligible ground service. Unsafe packs may not be shipped.
• Drones, model aircraft, and radio transmitters must be accurately described. The buyer and seller remain responsible for registration, Remote ID, frequency, power, and operating requirements that apply to them.
• Paint, adhesives, solvents, and other workshop supplies may be listed only when they can lawfully and safely use the offered delivery method.
• A product that cannot be shipped safely may be offered for local pickup only if possession and transfer are lawful.

4. Services

Service providers must describe the work, price, turnaround, required buyer materials, delivery method, and meaningful limits. They may not offer unlawful modifications, counterfeit branding, unsafe battery rebuilding, weaponization, emissions or radio-rule evasion, or work they are not qualified or permitted to perform.

5. Content and Community

Do not post illegal, infringing, deceptive, sexually exploitative, hateful, threatening, doxxing, or malicious content. Do not publish another person's private address, phone number, payment information, identity document, or private messages without a lawful basis and their permission.

Commercial promotion belongs only where RC House permits it. Duplicate classifieds are not allowed in Community when the item or service belongs in a marketplace listing.

6. Enforcement

RC House may limit visibility, remove content, cancel a listing, pause a payout, reverse a transaction where permitted, restrict features, suspend an account, or permanently ban a member. We consider severity, intent, risk, history, cooperation, and applicable law. Illegal activity or credible threats may be reported to the appropriate authorities.

Use the report control on the relevant listing, order, profile, or Community post, or contact support@rchouse.co. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.
